Used car parts on eBay United Kingdom.
Summary: 2011morton initiated a discussion about buying used car parts on eBay UK. marioelegio responded, and 2011morton provided further input. sika700 also contributed to the conversation, discussing aspects related to purchasing and sourcing these parts.
I would like to buy some used spare parts for my car on eBay.co.uk.
Value thousands of euros/pounds.
For the shipping service offered by eBay, it would not fall within the specifications.
The seller rated as a "business seller" cannot issue an invoice.
Even if I managed to find a carrier, how do you get through customs?
Can eBay make me the invoice and the documents to import the spare parts?
Or does it have to be done another way?
I'm looking for information.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Mentore1 year agoIf the seller can’t issue an invoice, I don’t see what the problem is.
If the seller agrees to sell in Italy, they’ll have to find an available carrier who will handle the customs clearance and advance the duties and VAT for you (value over 150 euros).
At delivery, you’ll pay the courier directly: duties, VAT, and their fees.

OP1 year agoI know that without an invoice, you can’t get through customs!!
The seller doesn’t have a VAT number.
The seller only accepts local pickup.
He can make a pallet with the goods, but I have to find a courier.
But without an invoice, you can’t get through customs...
I buy the goods through eBay.
Can eBay issue me an invoice to get through customs?

Mentore1 year agoIf shipping isn’t available, you can’t buy.
No sane seller would ship a high-value item where it isn’t available.
So there’s no point asking all the other questions.
Best regards.
