Request a refund for the second time
Hello, I bought a steering wheel from Latvia, and when it arrived I realized it was bent, so I requested a return..I sent the item back to the seller and in the meantime I filed a refund request with eBay and also with PayPal.. As soon as eBay saw that a case had also been opened with PayPal, it automatically closed my request with them..today the steering wheel arrived back to the seller, and he couldn't issue the refund precisely because the PayPal case was still ongoing (he sent me screenshots of the conversation with eBay), telling me that I needed to close the PayPal case first and then resubmit the refund request to eBay..Do you think I've lost the refund? Is it possible to make a second refund request to eBay? Thanks to anyone who replies

Mentore2 years agoYou were too hasty and have already made enough of a mess by opening two refund requests.
If you close the PayPal one now, you won't be able to open any new ones on either ebay or paypal.
Wait for the outcome of the PayPal case, contact their customer service and give them the return code.

Mentore2 years agoIt would have been enough to open a simple return request and everything would have gone smoothly.
It all depends on the reason for opening the dispute on Paypal, you need to manage it on their site.
Obviously you’ve blocked the seller and if you close the claim on Paypal you seriously risk the time limit for issuing the refund on ebay expiring.
