Request to cancel order to blind and deaf seller
I accidentally bought an item today. 2 minutes after paying, I requested to cancel it, with a private message sent to the seller as well. A few hours have passed now and I think the seller couldn't care less, since I received the international shipping tracking number that should ship the order. From your experience, I ask whether eBay protects customers in situations like this, since the seller clearly had plenty of time to cancel everything immediately.

Mentore3 years agoAs you rightly wrote, you have "proceeded to request cancellation" because, as you know, you cannot cancel the order.
The seller, in these cases, has no obligation whatsoever to accept your request; it would certainly be a matter of courtesy, but they are not required to!
For protection, what do you mean?
The seller is also an eBay customer just like you are, so if you consider that the mistake was yours, out of fairness you shouldn’t take it out on the seller, since they lose time and money... and it’s not said that they are in front of the PC 24 hours a day; they may also have automated systems that generate the shipping label when the sale is made.
Kind regards.
