Good morning
I sold a spare part on April 1st, it was paid for and shipped, and the buyer received it.
They contacted me yesterday, so after 29 days, to tell me that the item doesn’t fit their car, demanding a refund.
the problem is that in the listing I specified that returns are not accepted, there are contact details to get in touch with us in case of any doubts before buying and that in the meantime the buyer had sold that spare part. How should I behave? I don’t want to refund them, also because I no longer have the spare part since they sold it.

Mentore1 year agoGood morning,
a private seller who sells spare parts considered new is classified as an unauthorized seller... so you should switch to professional with VAT number and consequently you should also accept returns!
In any case, if they open a return request for an item not as described, you have no alternative, you are obliged to accept it.
Kind regards.
