REFUND REQUEST - RADIO ALARM CLOCK
Good morning everyone, I sold one of those vintage radios. I ship it to the customer and in the description I say that it works because when I had plugged it in it wasn’t completely “dead” but you could see that it was working.
Yesterday it arrives at the customer’s and he tells me:
“Good evening. The radio alarm clock arrived with the packaging perfectly. The clock section is OK, all good, but the radio has two problems: unfortunately the tuning knob turns freely without moving the pointer on the frequencies, and then, when the radio is turned on, a loud background noise can be heard. In fact it is not exactly as it was in the description as tested and working. I await your suggestions for the return. I’m sorry, thank you.”
My question now is, of course, these are vintage items... what would you do in this situation? If you issue a refund, who will pay the shipping costs?? Or would you refund only part of it and let the buyer keep the item so they can repair it...
thanks

Mentore2 years agoIf the buyer opens a proper return request for an item not as described (a radio should be heard... not just seen!), you will have three possible choices:
So the choice is yours.
Kind regards.
