When purchasing, how do I request a hold at the courier or other authorized pickup points since I’m often far from the shipping address?

Mentore2 years agoSome sellers offer shipping to “pickup points”: post offices or BRT parcel lockers.
You can see this option on the listings.

OP2 years agoAgreed, but I meant precisely in the case where this option was not explicitly indicated. Besides, I find it difficult to pick up directly at my address and in my area; after careful checking, I find many pickup points used by Ebay as well as all the courier/carrier offices usually used for shipments. I still pay shipping costs, but it would make things easier for me.

Mentore2 years agoObviously, in your case, you can’t set the hold-for-pickup with the courier you prefer in advance; you have to contact the seller, ask if they’ll do you the favor of hold-for-pickup with the courier they use, get the address from them, and enter it at the time of purchase.
Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to do it...
