Info request from DHL Express

Good morning !! My package left the USA with eBay international shipping program, I received a message from both eBay and DHL confirming it has been taken in charge; however, in the DHL message there is a part (marked IMPORTANT) where they ask me to write my phone number, TAX CODE and email (which they already have, since they sent me the message) for customs clearance purposes. Is it normal for them to ask for this (I should mention that the item is large and not exactly cheap) or are these phishing messages? thanks a lot for the help

Mentore1 year agoI’d be worried if they were asking for other kinds of data. Considering that it’s the courier who’s asking you for them, having taken charge of something that has to go through customs on your behalf, I’d say you’re not running any particular risks by giving the requested information.
