Refund Request
Good morning everyone,
today, just a little while ago, I received a refund request for a book I sold
about a week ago. The condition of the book is the same and the buyer explicitly
stated that they were requesting it because they changed their mind. In my original listing, however
the returns line clearly said returns not accepted. My question is:
can the buyer leave negative feedback if I don't refund? Or another question,
if they can, would I then be able to have it removed from Ebay? What are the chances that Ebay would
sides with me? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this unfamiliar situation.
Regards,
Flavio

Mentore2 years agoIf the buyer opens a refund request because they changed their mind, you can refuse to go along with their request. If they leaves you negative feedback in retaliation (if you have proof that it was left in retaliation, e.g. exchanged messages), ebay will remove it at your request.
If the buyer opens a return request for an item not as described in the listing (whether genuine or not), you cannot refuse the return. You are forced to refund them and take the item back at your own expense.

The item is absolutely compliant, HE himself IN WRITING said that he had second thoughts,
that’s the reason. The fear is that he won’t write, so he won’t leave written proof, that the
negative feedback he’ll put in a future date for that reason so that then they won’t make him remove it.
Like writing rude seller or something like that
