Returning to Italy

Hello everyone,
I opened an eBay account in Italy in 2003, but in 2013 I moved to the UK and so I updated my addresses and payment methods as suggested by eBay.
Now that I’m back in Italy I’ve changed all the addresses and the bank account again, but for eBay I still appear to be on EBAY.UK.
I don’t know how limiting this might be, but I contacted customer service (thinking it was something easy to resolve) and they told me I need to open a new account (thus losing the feedback I’ve accumulated so far.
What do you suggest I do?

your account appears to be registered in Italy.
So please log in to your account from ebay.it and change your shipping address... the registration address is Italian.
