Refund
Yesterday I opened a return for a purchase. After a few seconds I got a call from the seller asking me to close the return, saying they would arrange pickup and refund. Then nothing else. Today I call and no one answers, and I can no longer open a return. How can I proceed? Thanks

Returns and refunds should have been done through the open procedure.
Yet you also had to read and confirm a message warning you that by closing that procedure you couldn't then open any others on ebay. Did you confirm without even reading?
Now all that's left is to turn to the payment method protections, file a dispute on paypal's website, or do a chargeback on the credit card.

OP10 months agoYou’re 100 percent right. I got taken in so naively. I opened a dispute with PayPal, but they side with the seller even though you should know that as soon as I opened the dispute on PayPal, he called me to get it closed and I attached messages where he says this. Now I’ve opened an appeal with PayPal, but I’m afraid I’ll lose. Amen. It’ll serve as a lesson for me: never trust anyone
