refund for an item that never arrived
Good morning,
I purchased an item and the price of the item was charged to my checking account.
After opening a dispute for non-delivery, yesterday the dispute was closed with a refund of my purchase.
Now looking at my checking account, instead of being refunded, the charge was still debited from me.
I am asking for the reason

Mentore3 months agoIf the dispute was closed yesterday, it’s impossible that they’ve already credited the payment back to you.
You should receive an email from eBay confirming that the refund has been issued; from that email, the refund will be issued within the next two business days.
Keep in mind that the refund always follows the same path as the payment, in reverse. So it will take your bank and/or credit card the necessary processing time for the money to be returned to your account (at least another 2-3 days, but there are cards that take even more than 15 days).

Mentore3 months agoThe refund is not immediate; it takes between 5 and 30 days and depends on the credit card you used.
