Refund of an item sold with sponsorship

Hi everyone, I have a question: I had to cancel and then issue a refund for an item on which an ad was applied. When I issued the refund, I had to pay the sponsorship money too, even though the sale did not go through. Will this amount be credited back to me since the order was canceled?
