Refund issued but item never sent back

Good evening, it’s been more than a month since I filed a refund return for an item I had listed for sale; unfortunately, after receiving the refund for the amount paid, the buyer never sent back the item that had been shipped to them and now they don’t even respond to private messages anymore.
For Ebay, the situation is considered resolved and they can’t intervene in any way, neither by helping me with the return (which is understandable) nor with the monetary refund made; besides reporting the profile, they say to keep contacting the buyer privately, hoping they respond and send the item back.
Does anyone have any advice on this?

Mentore1 month agoThe advice is that before issuing the refund, you had to receive the returned item... I think that's obvious... but maybe not...
