REFUND LOST AND I DON’T KNOW WHERE IT IS!

Shameful support from this site for buyers.
I was on vacation in Italy and my daughter wanted a cell phone; an Italian friend of hers recommended buying it on eBay, so we did.
We bought a refurbished cell phone and right after that the seller let us know there were signs of wear on the phone and the glass, asking if we wanted to change it. We said yes.
He canceled the purchase so we could buy the other one. We did. But the refund NEVER arrived on the credit card we used to make the payment.
I can't get through to eBay and the seller says it's no longer his responsibility, because everything is fine from his end.
Who sorts this out?
We’re already back in Brazil and trying to find someone to talk to and resolve this…
Never need eBay support, because it doesn't exist.

Mentore1 year agoIf you made the purchase with an account created in Brazil, you need to contact customer support at br.ebay.com
If you used this account and received the refund confirmation email from ebay, you need to be patient because the refund has been issued and the timing depends only on your credit card and your bank account.

Mentore1 year agoIf you received the email from eBay confirming your refund... which of course is NOT immediate... it can take anywhere from 5 to 30 days.
