SCAM REFUND
I am really FED UP with buyers who, rightly or wrongly, receive goods 'damaged' by the careless shipping of ebay or vinted, file a claim and ALWAYS win, while we sellers lose the goods and the money (and with ebay also the cost of international shipping!!!)
but ebay or vinted never put up any money? they say they protect, but only the buyer? don't they understand that this doesn't work???
we sellers need to rebel, get organized, and build critical mass!
I invite you to take a look at my listings and do as I do if you too have been ROBBED AND SCAMMED by ebay, vinted or other DISHONEST sites that rob those who sell to the systematic advantage of those who buy, who are therefore strongly encouraged to also LIE AND CHEAT!

OP1 year agosorry, but what does the guarantee cover? only the buyer? if the EBAY courier damages my goods, why should I be the one to lose money? if ebay wants to refund the buyer, fine, BUT NOT WITH MY MONEY!!!
if I prove that I'm not in the wrong, why am I the only one paying?
tomorrow I'll buy an item for 200 euros and I'll say too that it arrived damaged, and voila free money! but is this a system???

Mentore1 year agoIf the courier you chose (despite the packaging you did) damages the goods, why should the buyer be the one to pay for it?
How could you prove anyway that you weren’t wrong?
If, despite adequate packaging, the item was damaged by the courier, you can try to seek compensation from him or his insurance.

OP1 year agosorry but I didn’t choose it, for international shipping if you do it through eBay they always give you UPS anyway, if I did it myself I’d definitely spend more
it’s eBay that boasts about providing customer protection, it’s eBay that fucks itself on the commission on every sale (which now they’d even like to charge me on my bank account even though no sale took place!!!!!!!), it’s THEM who have any insurance and should go after the courier NOT ME!!!!
on Vinted the shipping is paid by the buyer and in similar cases it gets refunded by the site, JUST LIKE THE DAMN COMMISSIONS THAT NOBODY WOULD DREAM OF ASKING FOR CANCELED SALES!!!!!!

So you chose the cheapest service you found. The shipping options offered on ebay by Packlink under agreement are in no way a mandatory service, but just one of many alternatives.
On ebay too, the shipping is paid by the buyer to you, so I don't really see much difference.
If the goods are damaged and the carrier says it was inadequate packaging (as almost always happens), the responsibility is entirely on the sender. There is no insurance that can reimburse it.
ebay fees are always refunded, if the seller acts within the correct time limits.

OP1 year agothe shipping is refunded to the buyer NOT TO ME, so in practice I’m paying for it in this case! whereas on vinted everything is paid by the person who buys and also refunded in case of a return, so vinted covers the money!
I refused the return because I’M RIGHT, they decided in favor of the buyer like you say they ALWAYS do (I’m surprised that someone still sells on this platform, I definitely won’t anymore!!!), now what do the fees have to do with it??? it’s SHOCKING that they’d even come ask me for money when I’ve already spent 11 euros to ship the item!!!

Mentore1 year agoIn the case of non-conformity, the law states that return shipping costs must be borne by the seller. So it’s strange that some platform hasn’t adapted.
That said, the issues you describe are always linked to all distance sales. They could be handled by the intermediary only if the goods passed through their hands, but then the costs would become very high and would only be justifiable for special items.
You received a very harsh feedback, you can try to have it removed because it does not refer to the transaction, but is damaging to your reputation as a seller (art 595 cp). Contact eBay customer support.
