ELECTRONIC BOARD REPAIR
Hello everyone, I sent an eBay seller a refrigerator electronic board to be repaired... after several days the seller let me know that the board had been repaired, and asked me to pay into his account with PayPal. When the "repaired" board was sent back to me... it was still faulty with the same error code exactly as when I sent it. When I then contacted the seller, he wrote to me that the board had been properly repaired and tested, and in his opinion the problem was due to something else... how can I open a dispute if the payment was not made on eBay?

Mentore2 years agoI don't think repair services can be sold on ebay.
In fact, the transaction was done outside ebay and you paid the seller directly via paypal (this transaction would be forbidden on ebay).
Now ebay definitely can't help you, but you'll have to deal directly with the seller. If you haven't made the further mistake of sending money as family or friends, you can open a dispute on the PayPal site.
