Delay in order delivery

How should one behave in the case of an excessive delay in the delivery of the order, if, in the meantime, the refund has already been issued?

You have been refunded and therefore the item has returned to the seller’s ownership.

If you are an honest person and receive an item for which you have already been refunded, you only have two options:

Keep the item and contact the seller to make a new payment.
Contact the seller and tell them that because of the delay you no longer need that item. They can send you a prepaid return label to get it back.

Consider that if it is a valuable item and if you do not do one of the two actions described above, the seller could report you for misappropriation.
