in-person pickup impossible

I won an auction, having chosen the item in a place convenient for me for pickup in person... Only after exhausting exchanges with the seller, it turns out that this pickup is and will be impossible, despite all the solutions I proposed, and my willingness to wait a month... How can I go back to choosing shipping, or cancel everything without penalties for me or the seller?

You can’t... you simply should have paid more attention to your choice... I think I understood that you wanted in-person pickup, but instead you chose shipping.

You can ask the seller to cancel it... but for them it’s not without financial loss.
