Hi everyone, when they ask for photos to send you the broken parts back
I get 4 power banks that take rechargeable batteries in them (which I already use for other perfectly working power banks), and 2 of these are defective: one smokes while I charge it, the other doesn’t charge at all. They ask me for photos, so I take them even with the cases opened to avoid them thinking I want to scam them. I send them tons of photos in every position and lighting, and they keep replying over and over to send the photos that I’ve already sent many times, as if they were pretending not to have received them!!!
Then, after I keep insisting, they finally reply a few times telling me to send 2 power banks in replacement, other times to refund me the full amount, other times to send the item back! In short, they do everything they can to make me lose the will to keep insisting...!!! I won’t give up
In the end, if I try again... for 2000 reasons, they make it so the item shows as out of stock and so I can no longer write to them on the same item!!! As if we were all stupid and they do everything x not losing out themselves, even though they’re in the wrong; in fact they themselves know very well that they have many faulty pieces, but they don’t care, because they sell millions of units anyway and so they don’t lose anything if they remove an ad for a few hundred...
Obviously these are just assumptions about the fact that they make it appear that the items are finished, even though it isn’t true..., but these are things everyone knows: the Chinese make money on quantity and not quality!!! And rather than admit the remaining ones are broken or have disappeared, in short, everyone knows how to do it x not losing out...
Now I’m asking myself: is it right that from the moment they remove the listing, the customer can no longer contact them to ask for a refund or other items, through the same listing??? What do we do, write to them on another listing??? Wait for them to put them back on sale??? Go to eBay??? After all, the one who makes the most revenue and profits the most is always right??? If the objects bought are worth little, do they get little importance??? What should I do x to be respected, ask eBay for a refund??? Yes, I could, but I don’t think it’s right that the seller slips away from their responsibilities, just because they make it seem like they no longer have any items for sale and so you can’t even ask for a refund anymore, because in some way, they make the listing disappear!!! Or they come up with 1000 excuses, like, the photos are unclear when they are clearly visible, or the shipping code isn’t visible well, etc, the defect isn’t understood or they even blame the couriers, warehouses, customs, whoever handled the transport, but they never take the blame!!! Italians do it too, but 1 out of 10, while half of them act sneaky!!!! Like they pretend not to understand or ten different people reply and they even get confused among themselves!!!
This happened to me too with a German seller and another Italian one, but somehow I got the refund from EBAY, because the problem is when the package disappears and doesn’t arrive and they think you’re pretending not to have received it, or that you broke the item, while instead there is a manufacturing defect that can’t be seen with the naked eye, because the problem is in the solder joints, which can only be noticed with a special spray...!!! But no, for them you’re trying to pull a fast one, despite having 100 positive feedback out of 100-odd packages received and paid for in advance!!!
It’s not a money issue for me, but one of principle and I dig in my heels, because I buy on EBAY xké otherwise I couldn’t, having in the family serious health, mobility, and financial problems!!! Besides, so many things, you can’t find them in stores or there aren’t any stores near you!!!

Mentore3 years agoI’ll say upfront that I haven’t read the whole message in full... but if more than 30 days hadn’t passed since delivery, wouldn’t it have been better to open a return request for an item not as described, and if the seller dragged it out, on the fourth day ask eBay to step in??
