considering that eBay is just a showcase of sellers, if you want to make use of the legal guarantee, you need to pay attention to the type of seller you buy from; it must therefore be a professional one (the “real” one with VAT number) based in the EU... if you buy from private sellers or non-EU professional sellers (legal address, not where they ship from!), you will not have any guarantee.
