Clearance
Hello.
I bought an item from a professional seller in Japan that shows as shipped. I receive an email from FedEx that sends me the invoice and label but informs me that to clear customs they need my personal details and tax code, as well as the seller’s details; otherwise, after 3 days of storage they charge 10 euros per package up to 100 euros. Shipping was free and I have the tracking with the supposed delivery date. Is this normal?

Mentore1 year agoCustoms clearance responsibility and any charges are always the responsibility of the recipient of the goods.
If the item's value (including shipping) exceeds 150 euros, customs duties and VAT will be applied to you, in addition to the courier's charges.
