Cancelable customs clearance?
Good evening
I placed an order and today, once it was shipped from Japan (taken over by FedEx), they asked me for duties, VAT, customs fees, etc…
honestly, for a product paid for at 250, paying 105 for shipping seems like a lot to me, but I understand it.
unfortunately at the time I hadn’t thought about customs.
I wanted some advice, can I cancel it or refuse it when it arrives at my house? am I now advised to complete the purchase? should I ask for some refund and cancel the order? thanks

Mentore2 years agoYou can’t do anything else.
Customs duties are a responsibility you can’t escape from.
If you refuse to pay them, you lose the item and won’t be entitled to any refund.
