Good morning, I am reporting what happened,I bought a pair of RAM sticks for a PC from a platform seller. The purchase and shipping went through fine. While testing the product, I noticed that one of the two RAM sticks is defective/not working. I informed the seller of what happened and, after several attempts to test the product, the seller confirmed my statement that the product was defective and offered me a refund or a reshipment of only the defective component, on the condition that I "destroy" the non-working component and send photos proving that I did so. My question is: is this a common procedure? At the moment, I am unsure what to do. Also because the seller justifies all this by saying it saves on shipping time in case of a product return.
