MONEY WRONGFULLY WITHHELD BY EBAY

today I sold an item. The seller paid eBay immediately withheld the fees and withholds the net proceeds of the sale for a certain number of days (I didn’t understand whether it’s 9 or 14).
in the meantime I AM FORCED TO SHIP THE ITEM without having received a single cent and so ON TRUST I send a package at my own risk.
To me this seems illegal... if I go into a store and buy something they don’t let me leave with the goods before I’ve paid..
These people happily collect THEIR COMMISSIONS IMMEDIATELY and then...... we’ll see
I called and they told me the money is in my account... Fine, I go to get gas and tell the gas station attendant that the money is in my account... You can imagine what a laugh he’d have!!!

Before putting any item up for sale, it’s a good idea to read the rules carefully; complaining afterward makes no sense at all. By putting the item up for sale, you accepted the same rules you’re now disputing.
