I’ll try to be brief and get straight to the point, I need some help.
I bought a perfume and paid immediately on the night of January 21 from a seller here on eBay by credit card. After 2 days I went to check whether it had been shipped, but nothing. I kindly contacted the seller, politely asking whether the perfume was original or had ever been used, since at that price (almost €40) it seemed like a bargain but also suspicious, I admit.
Well, I get no reply. Two days later I write him simply "why aren’t you replying?" without receiving any response. Instead, absurdly, I receive a purchase offer for the same perfume (though from a different listing), which I obviously رفضed feeling **** sorry. I requested an order cancellation since he has already taken the money, but it still hasn’t been shipped even today after five days. Three days have passed I think (I open the app every day hoping for a refund or a reply) and as of now (around 11:20 PM on the 26th) the seller has rejected/declined the cancellation request, yet still continues not to reply at all or ship.
What should I do? I understand waiting, but it’s never happened here for me to wait nearly 6 days after payment was sent to wait for shipment, moreover without ever replying to the private messages I sent him. Have I been scammed? Will I never get not only the product back, but also my money? How can I act, or why doesn’t eBay protect me or intervene? Please help me.
The seller is called *** and has no feedback, only one I think as a positive buyer and months old.

anyway, a private seller who sells new items in quantity at prices well below market value is already, in itself, a questionable transaction.

Mentore1 year agoHi sika700, finding that perfume at a price like that is practically impossible: either it’s fake, or it’s stolen (but it wouldn’t make sense to sell it on eBay), or it’s used.

Mentore1 year agoIf the seller has refused your request to cancel the order, you will have to wait until the delivery deadline indicated in the listing expires.
