Ongoing fund suspension - eBay has become a TOTAL farce
I’m not a troll, I know the internet as well as or better than you do, and the world of finance too, and I know very well that money has value and increases over time; the fact that eBay systematically holds funds and even for several weeks is a rip-off. The money goes through their channels, obviously, or also through the banks that hold the funds (when I, the seller, am the only one entitled to dispose of that sum after I’ve parted with an item).
Money sitting idle in banks or in eBay’s account earns money.
This stuff about holding funds on top of taking the fees is equivalent to those things that existed in the Middle Ages, if anyone studied that stuff they know what I mean.
Honestly, I’m ashamed that Europe allows a company like this to handle transactions and the sale of items. The level has dropped in a frightening way compared to years ago.
In the last 5 years, with the abandonment of PayPal, this system has become ridiculous. Good only for sellers with a certain amount of sales \ purchase volume.
This is an insult to the occasional seller.
At least say it outright, though: eBay is not made for the kind of selling that used to happen, at least leave the field to the competition, but this stuff here is mind-blowing.
Sold for a week, and they ask me for 20 days to give me my money.
Are you kidding me? I’ve made 200 sales in 10 years.. but I’m not an idiot.
Do they think they’re dealing with people with an IQ of 0, people who have never studied anything, understood nothing, done nothing?
Money has value over time; on top of the 10% you also take the money for 20 days like that, citing security and other stories.
You CANNOT DO THIS WITH SELLERS WHO HAVE TEN YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. You can absolutely do it with a seller on their first, second, or third purchase, or who has received WELL-FOUNDED reports, but that’s not my case. And every time I sell you do this medieval-lord stuff, enough already, acting like starving people when you’re a mega corp, it’s something unbelievable.
You’re asking to be sued to the European Consumer Network, I certainly won’t hesitate to report you.
