Suspected scam on my product for sale.
Good morning everyone. I’m a beginner Ebay seller. I’m asking for advice. I received an offer on products I have listed for sale. I’m not sure who the likely buyer is, strange name, no real reference to an actual person, so I suspect it’s a scam attempt. I rejected the offer and blocked the seller. Has this happened to you before? I’m waiting for advice on this. Thanks a lot.

when you receive an offer, you only and exclusively see the user's nickname, you do not see in any way the personal name or delivery location, but you can find out where they are, whether in Italy or abroad, only after acceptance and payment received; ebay gives you the shipping address, including first and last name.
So, in my opinion, you were overly afraid and if you fear falling victim to some scam, maybe ebay is not for you, you should stick to those local in-person delivery sites with cash payment.
