Shipment to an incorrect address
Good morning, on 29/01/2024 at 03:00, I purchased, via auction, item no.186262076141 - 1/24 Scale Cox La Cucaracha.
After paying for it, while reading more carefully on the sales page, I realized that the seller, who lives in the USA, did not offer “International Shipping.” Unfortunately, I had missed this detail when I took part in the auction.
The seller, however, told me that he had already shipped the item. The address, though, is not mine, but someone else’s, maybe in Illinois.
In another message, I pointed this out to the seller, but as of today he still has not replied.
I have therefore decided to inform you of the situation now, without waiting any longer, because I do not know whether or how the seller might resolve this problem, not knowing his intentions.
Given that I will most likely not receive the item I purchased, I would like to know what steps are necessary so that I can get back the sum of $225.53 that I paid. This amount comes from the cost of the item: $154.50, plus $30.36 in shipping charges, plus $40.67 in VAT.

Mentore2 years agoTake another careful look at the listing. From the way you describe the breakdown of the amounts, International Shipping service is included.
The shipment was sent to a collection center in Glendale Heights, Illinois, and from there it will depart with an international courier to Italy. You should receive a second code in the format EEUS……….
