Insured shipment of coins
Hello,
I saw a proposed insured shipping service with Poste.
I was wondering whether the insurance is valid in the case of shipping coins, in particular if they are silver and/or gold, which would seem to be prohibited.
Does anyone know about this?

Mentore2 years agoAccording to Packlink, the shipping provider affiliated with eBay, neither coins nor gold nor jewelry can be shipped or insured.
So if there are any problems, they’ll wash their hands of it.

There are some couriers that have specific insured services for valuable goods.
