Shipping with pickup in the area
Summary: aubiloujewels expresses frustration that many customers do not clearly understand the local pickup option on eBay. Several times, customers who are not near the pickup location confirm an order only to have to cancel it later, causing inconvenience and lost sales. They are considering removing this option because of the frequent incidents.
Good morning, do you think the concept of shipping with local pickup is hard to understand, it isn’t explained well on eBay, or are customers simply blinded by the word 'free'? This is the fourth time I’ve had an order confirmed with local pickup (I live in the province of Padua) by customers who live somewhere completely different, so pickup is out of the question. So I have to ask them to cancel the order, I have to approve it, etc. etc. Obviously then they don’t buy the item again... I’m thinking of removing this option given the many 'incidents'.

That way you get rid of the ones who click without reading; usually they’re also the most dangerous ones.
