Shipment stuck at the processing center for 3 weeks
Summary: The discussion between lorenzbacchian_0 and marioelegio concerns a shipment that has been stuck in a processing center for three weeks. Both participants express concern about the delay and are looking for solutions or information to resolve the issue.
Good morning, I made a sale (destination Crete, Greece) on December 18 and shipped it promptly right away, even though I thought the Christmas chaos might affect the actual arrival date.
I reassured the buyer that there could be delays in arrival, but as of today, January 11, there’s still no news and the buyer contacted me again to ask for information.
I shipped with Poste Italiane, but when I printed the label, customs documents were also attached to the label file (for what? Greece is in the EU so they aren’t needed), so I just attached the label as I usually do for European shipments.
Do you have any idea how I can move forward? I don’t want to refund the seller (they still haven’t asked for a refund), but I have the feeling that what I’ve read in other cases could happen: once the refund is made, the package “unblocks” and arrives at its destination, and then you can say goodbye to both the goods and the money.

Mentore1 year agoIf you purchased shipping on eBay through Packlink, you have 30 days from shipment to request the insurance refund.
So I’d say wait a few more days, but then consider the package lost.

OP1 year agoHi Mario and thanks for the reply,
yes, I purchased the full insurance with Packlink, how do I proceed with requesting the reimbursement? This has never happened to me before and I hope it won't be a long hassle
Thanks in advance and have a nice evening
