Shipping managed directly by the buyer
I'm about to sell an item whose shipping is handled directly by the buyer, who contacted a courier of their choice, agreed on the cost, and arranged for it to pick up the goods.
Since I had originally set the listing for in-person pickup, do I need to change the shipping settings
is it correct to enter free shipping, even if I'm not the one paying for it but the buyer directly?

Mentore2 years agoYou have to absolutely trust the buyer. You won't have the chance to upload the shipping on the eBay system and you could have problems in case of a spurious dispute.
Wouldn't it have been simpler if you had arranged the shipping and he paid for it?
Otherwise you would have to leave the delivery on site and agree with the buyer to have him send you the pickup code while his courier is loading the package.
