Tracked shipment and funds freeze
Hello everyone, I sent a book by tracked shipping (the shipping label and tracking code were generated for me directly from eBay’s website), but the book never reached its destination (I think they have some pretty big problems with the post in Tuscany). The customer opened a request for an item not received, eBay notifies me and blocks my funds. But I mean: is it possible that eBay doesn’t realize that I shipped it, that there is a tracking code, and that it’s not my fault? And what am I supposed to do? Refund them, on top of that?

Mentore2 years agoeBay is relatively uninterested in whether you shipped it. If you can't prove delivery into the buyer's hands, of course you have to refund.

OP2 years agoThe order ID is not correct, please note that the order ID is a combination of numbers and letters that you will find in the confirmation email called order ID. The format is 6fsdfds4f4e-0fdfsd0c-4e3a-a38c-6c8d3ad09433 or UNCOM2023-1ca0dsfdf10b5-ddsfds-465e-a7c3-feb0d4dfdfa5509f. If you are an eBay Delivery customer or a Packlink PRO customer, go to the corresponding Help Center.

You have a tracking... you need to check that, and if it shows delivered, request proof of delivery!

OP2 years agono, they tell me that the address doesn't exist.

Mentore2 years agoCheck the address shown on your shipping receipt and make sure it matches exactly the one eBay gave you. If they match, you can use the tracking (or rather the POD delivery proof) to respond to the dispute.
