Shipment held by customs at destination

At the moment I have a shipment that has been shown for a few days as “held by customs at destination”. I should mention that I have not been contacted by anyone to release the package. How should I proceed? Do I just have to wait?

Are you the seller or the buyer?

The seller is responsible for the accompanying documentation. The buyer is responsible for making sure that the items he has purchased can be imported into Italy.

In any case, a few days are necessary for customs clearance. If it takes too many days, try contacting the courier.

I am the buyer and the item is a watch, so it should be importable without any issues.

Perfect, then I’ll wait a little longer and if there are no updates I’ll try to contact the shipping service.
