Additional charges for purchases outside Europe
Good evening everyone, I’d like to ask for information since I’m not very experienced. I wanted to ask whether, if buying from Japan for example, VAT and customs fees need to be added to the price I pay initially

Mentore2 years agoThe answer is yes... if you don't pay them in advance, you'll pay them on delivery.
The VAT is the Italian one, while then all import costs will have to be paid, including duties (above €150), customs fees and carrier charges, which are difficult to estimate in advance.
Best regards.

Mentore2 years agoOf course.
If the total exceeds 150 euros, customs duties will also have to be paid.
VAT must be calculated on the total, including shipping costs and any duties.
The courier also charges extra fees for customs clearance (between 5 and 20 euros).
