Import fees not calculated
Good evening, I took part in an auction where the import cost wasn't listed. Between shipping and import, now I have a bill that's 1/3 of the total price to pay once the auction is over. I'd like to know if it's possible to dispute the import charges since the product is used?

Mentore1 year agoYou can't contest anything.
You were supposed to know that by taking part in an auction in a non-EU country, you would then be responsible for importation into the EU. Distance transactions are considered to take place at the seller's registered office, and all import charges are always borne by the buyer. Whether the item is new or used makes no difference at all.
