Shipping costs added after the auction win
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I won an auction with free shipping.
Today the seller sends me an invoice but adds the shipping costs!
I mean... I win the auction with free shipping and he just adds it after I’ve won it? But is something like this really allowed? I contacted him and he didn’t reply... and I’m afraid he won’t reply... so what can I do?

Mentore11 months agoAfter the auction is won, listings can’t be modified. Check the listing carefully; it was probably an overseas seller and the free shipping was only for his country. You should have contacted him to find out what the shipping cost to your address would be. When it comes to this case, the notice appears on the shipping details page….
He can send you the invoice with the shipping costs, only if these weren’t included.

OP11 months agoIt specified free international shipping, moreover if I paid before the afternoon of the next day, the payment was only for the item and not for the shipping, which was rightly free.
He simply wanted to add the shipping costs.

Mentore11 months agoHowever, as you can read on the attached page, this is not possible through the procedure. Ebay also says to get in touch with them (and provides the link) in case of problems.
