Return shipping costs
Good morning everyone, I bought an LCD for a smartphone that was described as OLED but in reality it was a very ordinary LED, so it didn’t fit into the phone frame. When I started the return, the seller sent me the address to ship it back for the return. He only refunded me for the screen, shouldn’t he also refund the shipping costs since his item description was wrong?

Mentore1 year agoIt depends on the reason for the return that you selected in the eBay procedure.
If you filed a case for item not as described, the return shipping costs were the seller's responsibility and the refund must be full.
If you filed a return request without a reason (because you changed your mind), the return shipping costs are your responsibility and the seller can withhold a percentage from the refund.

Mentore1 year agoGood morning,
since it is not possible to give opinions without being able to inspect the item you purchased, and since you have already received a refund and probably also removed the protective films and/or stickers from the display and therefore it is no longer resellable, the seller has every right to withhold a percentage for the inconvenience.
Kind regards.
