Shipping costs from the USA to Italy

Good morning,
I won several auctions from a single seller, each shipment individually cost around $20/25$.
When I go to pay for all the items I won (they are trading cards, 44 in total, so 44 auctions won), eBay automatically combines the shipping for all the items, but the final amount does not come out like the cost of a single shipment but comes out to $86. Can you explain why? I thought it would be charged as a single $20/25 one or a little more.

Mentore5 months agoThe rules for combining shipments (if the seller agrees to do it) are set by the seller, not eBay. Many sellers indicate an additional fee (less than the shipping cost) for each additional combined item.
