Shipping costs
Good morning everyone!
A buyer, after buying the item I had for sale and after I shipped it to them, wrote to me to complain that the shipping costs are too high.
The shipping method, timing, and price were clearly visible in the sales listing.
Can they “lean on” the fact that they think the shipping costs are too high to file a complaint?
This has never happened to me before and I don’t know how to handle it; I’d be sorry to receive negative feedback because of this.
Thanks in advance to everyone for the replies!

Mentore3 years agoIn fact, the shipping was a bit excessive. The ordinary extra parcel (equivalent to poste delivery standard) up to 3 kg costs €9.40. It becomes difficult to make the buyer swallow a €18 expense, when they see on the parcel the cost borne by the seller.
It didn’t even make sense to profit from shipping costs, since today on ebay the fees are paid on the total value.
Probably nothing will happen, I would apologize and make a partial refund. But that has to be your decision. In any case, pay more attention in the future.
