Sponsorships: crazy rates???
I decided to remove promotion from all my items after yet another disappointment with the rules being applied. The situation: I list two music methods for sale at 10 euros each and promote them with the suggested automatic percentage (I think between 10 and 15%). So far so good but.....after 24 hours I receive two offers from the same buyer for €5 each and therefore for a total of 10 euros and I decide to sell them to him with combined shipping. I get charged the fee on the original cost. Now I can understand that ebay gives you a visible showcase and technology, but I could understand paying a lot (in addition to the commissions) for an ad that has been sitting for 30 days or more, but for one that sold right away ??? It seems disproportionate to me.

Mentore3 years agoYou need to have control over the sponsored posts; you should decide the percentage yourself, otherwise you risk... like in your case... paying ridiculous commissions.
Fortunately, they’re optional.
