Excessive automatic cancellations after the first payment failed.
Hello everyone, I’ve encountered this problem for the first time since I started buying things and I’d like to understand how to handle it. A few days ago I bought an item with a card (no PayPal) and I got the message that the payment did not go through. At the same time I received several notifications from the bank app indicating two identical purchases of the same item, and then not two, but actually 4 automatic reversals of the same payments. So I end up with an extra unaccounted-for credit due to these two extra reversals, and it’s not clear why they were generated.
Then I try again to buy the item and this time everything goes through, so much so that the seller has already shipped it.
The problem is that these extra unaccounted-for reversals are still showing on the account. I don’t know if they’re virtual and will disappear later, but I wouldn’t want extra money that isn’t mine to be credited to me. In your opinion, who should I contact? I tried writing to the seller, but he didn’t reply; in fact he shipped the item, so evidently everything looks fine on his end.
Thanks in advance.

Mentore2 years agoHello,
sellers no longer handle payments, so if there are any problems you need to contact eBay support.
Of course you won’t be credited with any extra money, it could be a temporary issue with your bank that will sort itself out within a few days... also, where would the money be taken from?
Kind regards.
