Subtitles fee
For self-defense purposes, I’m letting you know about something I discovered today with great surprise: if you fill in the optional “subtitle” field, ebay charges € 0.50 per listing (something that, unlike for example promotions, whose cost is stated clearly, is not highlighted in the submission form). In essence, this tool, which allows ebay to offer buyers a better shopping experience and which for the seller is only an (optional) waste of time, since the same information can be entered for free in the description, ends up being a financial burden on the seller.

the subtitle fee is clearly stated in eBay's rules:

Also, at the end of creating the listing, the cost incurred is always indicated... if you create it manually.
