Fees on order canceled by buyer
Good evening everyone,
just a little while ago a user bought one of my items, paid for it, and then requested to cancel the order (all of this happened within a couple of minutes).
I accepted the cancellation request, however I notice that EBAY has taken €0.35 from the linked checking account, thus refunding an amount greater than what was shown as pending.
Would someone be kind enough to explain this to me? Because honestly it doesn’t seem very fair to me. If twenty orders get canceled every month, do I end up losing out even though I have always been an honest seller?

as per eBay regulations, the fixed amount of 35 cents is not refunded... only from April 2023 and only for professional sellers, in the case of a voluntary refund or buyer cancellation, that amount will also be refunded... but you are a private seller and so it does not apply...
