Hi everyone
I’d like to buy a virtual reality headset, the Pico 4, but it’s being shipped from Japan.
do you think there’ll be customs fees to pay?

Mentore3 years agoOf course you do.
You will pay VAT at 22% upon purchase (to be added to the listing price). Since you are a buyer residing in Italy, eBay collects the tax for the Italian state.
Then you will pay customs duties, if the item including shipping exceeds 150 euros (but with Japan there is an agreement and the duties are very low, 1 - 2%)
You will also pay customs fees to the courier for assistance with customs clearance, depending on the courier they vary from 5 to 30 euros.
