Good morning, I’m asking you more experienced folks than me.

I sold a foosball table worth more than €1000.

It arrived late and the buyer opened a dispute, but not for a refund, just to find out where the shipment was at.

I always replied apologizing, but unfortunately my supplier, who would have handled the shipment directly, had problems at the company not caused by me.

I apologized in a thousand ways, but by then the claim had already been opened and that was it.

The buyer was refunded, at eBay’s unquestionable discretion.

Too bad the foosball table was delivered and I have all the documents to prove it.

Before filing a lawsuit, the buyer assured me he would pay me directly, but first he has to receive the refund, which as of today, after at least 15 days, does not seem to have arrived.

The money was taken from me right away.

Is it possible that the refund to him arrives slowly?

Has this happened to you?

Granted, the refund was issued only because it was requested by the buyer. It could have waited up to 21 days from the opening of the dispute.

Once the seller and buyer receive the email informing them about the refund, it is issued within the next two business days.

The refund always follows the same path as the payment, in reverse. So the timing after those two days does not depend on ebay, but on the timing of the accounts and cards the buyer used.
