I was contacted by this email, which told me to call a number for administrative communications concerning me. I call and they tell me I’ll be called back by an operator from Romania. Is it a scam, or is it an official email that somehow has to do with eBay?

If you don't have anything "administrative" with eBay, I don't see why you even called...

Obviously it's a scam... if eBay has something to tell you, it does so through official channels, namely through eBay messaging that you can find in your account.

What do you mean by "administrative"?

Because maybe I have something like that, in a nutshell I owed €55.30 to ebay (I'm not even sure why), but for various reasons I couldn't pay them and this went on for many months (about 10), the first email I got from trade.ebay@fire.eu was a reminder to pay the €55.30 plus €15 in late fees, and it told me to pay within 10 days, but I couldn't, and months later I got a new email, again from this address, telling me to call a certain number for "administrative communications concerning me".

I recently paid the €55.30 directly through ebay, but those 15? I don't know if everything is settled or not

That it concerns the management of your account... so if you owe money to eBay... Fire spa is a debt collection agency.

I paid off my debt with eBay several days ago, but the first email from fire spa also mentioned an extra €15 for the late payment.

Since I paid off the debt with eBay, they have sent me several emails saying everything was fine, but fire spa hasn’t told me anything. What should I do?

Well, that’s for sure, but I’ll say it again: this time around, for various reasons, I wasn’t able to pay it right away.

So, now that we’ve established that that email and that number aren’t a scam, should I call to hear what they have to say, or since I already paid from the sellers’ console, should I consider the situation resolved?
