Scam
I think I got scammed, after a month the shipping code is still stuck, the seller doesn't जवाब, I filed a request for intervention with eBay, now how long do they take to review the case? 15 days have passed and I haven't received a response (on the request they say to wait) how long?

Mentore3 years ago....... anyway, if you haven't explicitly requested eBay's intervention, the case will not be reviewed.
eBay intervention can be requested within 21 days from the opening of the case and no earlier than 4 business days.

OP3 years agoAsked eBay to step in, 16 days have passed and they say to wait, wait for how long? In the meantime, 5 weeks have passed since my purchase and I have neither the product nor the money, and this would be buyer protection?

Mentore3 years agoRemember that the same guarantee you’re claiming is the same for the seller too...
So if eBay has asked for more time, it’s because it needs to assess the situation carefully and be fair to both... you’re claiming you didn’t receive anything... the seller is claiming to have shipped it...

Mentore3 years agoIf it’s obvious that he hasn’t shipped it, ebay would have no reason to make you wait any longer, as also written in their rules:

Unfortunately, you can’t know what the seller told ebay...

OP3 years agoall I know is that 5 weeks have passed, it was supposed to be delivered in 1 and I have neither the goods nor the money.

Mentore3 years agoEvery marketplace has its own customer protection rules... remember that the seller is also an eBay customer.
So if everything is in eBay's hands, wait patiently... every situation is different, and if they've asked for more time, what can you do?
Complaining about the timing won't help change things.

OP3 years agoThe thing is that on wallapop and on Subito, if the goods don't arrive after 15 days, they immediately refund your money and don't pay the seller, so they solve the problem (I tried it personally). Instead, eBay pays the seller right away just to pocket the commission, and that's how these scams happen.

Mentore3 years agoEvery marketplace has its own rules... if you don't like eBay's, don't use it... you can't expect the same rules for every site!

OP3 years agoIn fact, after 48 hours eBay replied that I have to wait another 15 days, then they told me to keep waiting until they say so; the thing is that the seller sent me an email and then disappeared saying that the item had been returned to him by mistake and that he would resend it, the tracking has been stuck at the supposed initial shipment for 40 days, nothing, it's obvious that this is a scam and what does eBay do? they tell me to wait, wait for what? a product that will never arrive, meanwhile they have the money😠
