Hello everyone, I need some help because I no longer know how to move forward.
I won an auction from a private seller.
After winning the auction, I contacted the seller, who seemed like an honest person, to arrange the pickup of the item. During the call we agreed on shipping instead of pickup, but that never happened. Every day there was a different excuse, but in short he kept wasting time and did not deliver the item.
I contacted eBay, which asked me for 3 days to contact the seller and try to resolve the situation. A few days later they replied with a message saying the seller had been contacted and would get in touch with me shortly (which never happened), also saying that I am not covered by eBay insurance and therefore I need to contact the seller (who no longer responds to either emails or phone calls) to resolve the issue.
At the moment I can no longer follow up with eBay because my follow-up is still open and I cannot open another one, and the seller does not respond.
Since I only have the seller's email, I don't have the information I need to involve a lawyer.
How could I proceed to get the money or the item?

Mentore1 year agoHello,
what "reminder" did you open on eBay?
Best regards.

We’re sorry that you didn’t receive the item. We’ve asked the seller to respond to your request.

Your purchase is not covered by the eBay Customer Guarantee, but we recommend that you try to work out a solution with the seller.
