Fraud by filing an appeal with their credit institution, stating it as an unrecognized transaction
Hello, I have a problem with a user who is trying to scam me ... I put some digital content up for sale, PSN top-ups, and I sold this malomb-226 a €60 top-up, a code to redeem on the PS4/PS5 console, on January 18, 2023, and I immediately sent the code with a photo showing the date and time of the sending. After just a few minutes, 9 days later, yesterday, January 27, 2023, I received a notification that the user malomb-226 had opened a dispute asking for the full amount back, that is, the €60, through his bank institute because he does not recognize the transaction?? It is clearly an attempt at fraud because here on eBay or on PayPal he cannot do anything since I attach proof and counterproof that the code is valid, complete with photo, date and time, so I ask how I can resolve this mess?? I blocked the user, but after also speaking with customer service they advised me to remind him that he bought the item on January 18 ... but when I tried to contact him, the phone number entered does not exist, just like all the data, all invented, nonexistent, and anyway it is a new account opened on January 18 just a few minutes before the purchase ... now I ask you, let's say he is acting in good faith, why should I be the one to lose the money if he does not remember the purchase or if it was his son who bought it without telling his parents, or if someone stole his data or card to pay??? What do I have to do with it?? I shipped what they bought and I did not force anyone to buy from me. My responsibility ends after I sent them the code ... if the buyer does not recognize the purchase, I am not the one responsible... anyway I wrote several times and called eBay but they are washing their hands of it because they say they are waiting for the outcome of the bank institute

What did you ship with... with a simple email, and how do you prove it... with a photo?

You’re a private individual, you have no authorization, stop selling in digital format before eBay closes your account!
